"The Global Development Learning Network (GDLN) is an alliance among public, private and non-governmental organizations, comprising a community for sharing knowledge, with the purpose of serving the developing world. The Latin America and the Caribbean Region of the Global Network is made up of a group of Distance Learning Centers (DLCs) established in a variety of organizations, including universities, public training institutes, international agencies and private companies. They all have telecommunications infrastructure and experience in the distance training area."
