Young people from winners of WSYA 2010 meet in New York to demonstrate how to use ICT for Development and MDGs,

About 40 winners and runners-up aged 18 to 30 years from 21 countries, who use internet and mobile technologies to take action on MDGs met in New York from September 18th to 22nd 2010, along side the UN Millennium Review Summit. These participants were the winners of the 2010 World Summit Youth Award (WSYA). Projects and solutions was also presented to representatives of major international organisations during the event .

GAID is a partner for WSYA events for second year and its Co-Chairman Mr. Ramon Alberto Garza  joined the WSYA Amphitheatre on 21,September 2010  to participate in a high level discussion with WSYA Chairman Prof. Peter A. Bruck, Macedonian Minister for Information Technology Mr. Ivo Ivanovski and Jose Zamora, journalism Associate at the James L. Knight Foundation.

After the discussion, the young winners presented their projects, aspirations and views on how to achieve the MDGs by innovative use of ICT.
