It serves as a “one-stop-shop” for policymakers, planners, project managers and development practitioners to implement national development strategies and programmes.
A Preparatory meeting was organized earlier at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on 1-2 September 2010. The meeting concluded successfully with the overwhelming support and participation from 110 participants from 44 countries including governments, the private sector , civil society, international organization, United Nations organizations and academia. It was decided to adopt the name ‘MDG eNabler’ (previously called MDG eCenter) for the project.
