ICT bring advantages and create potential to all groups in society. Whoever they are and wherever they live, all should be able to use information and communication technologies. This is one of the aims of the UN Global Alliance for ICT and Development. The Federal Foreign Office, as the Focal Point Europe in the Global Alliance network, wants to contribute via this digital library. This web gateway intends to present an overview of the latest findings and trends in scientific ICT research. Abstracts and studies should be easy to find and should be used to generate new knowledge from existing knowledge. Interactive features will follow soon, e.g. an API, support of BibTeX and other formats and a project exchange.
The website is intended for scientists, professors, academics, students and for anyone else across the world who is interested in ICT. It is free of charge and it has a clear thematic focus. Anyone in the scientific community may post links to his/her own publication. Thus scientists are providing information and inspiration for others. At the same time they can bring the results of their work to a wider audience.
