Programmes such as e-Mexico which combine infrastructure development with citizen services are very popular and are a further step in the right direction. Other programmes, including skills development and support for indigenous firms (PROSOFT, Fondo PyME), should be strengthened and further focused to improve efficiency and extend reach to businesses.
