Registration is open to all stakeholders who are planning to attend the Global Forum.

Is there a registration fee?
The registration is free of charge.

How can I cancel my registration?

How can I update the registration form to reflect changes in my contact information?

Do I have to register for each event for the Global Forum? Or is it one for all events registration?
Only one registration is required. Registered participants are allowed to attend the Global Forum, iMarketSpace and related side events.

Will there be a security check to enter event location?
A badge provided at registration is required to enter the venue. Participants will be required to wear their badges on their outer garment at all times while in event premise.

Where can I receive the Welcome bag, including the badges for the Global Forum?
The Welcome Bag, including the badges will be distributed at the pre-registration, which will be held at Horno 3 the day before the event, June 9, 2009 and another pre-registration in the morning of the opening day, June 10, 2009.

What documentation will I need to bring?
For travel purpose, please have your passport stamped with the Mexico visa, if required. To check if you require visa to enter Mexico, please visit GAID website.
In addition, a copy of the Letter of Invitation is required to attend the Global Forum.

Will GAID provide funds for the participants?
Unfortunately, GAID is not able to provide any financial support to participants at this time. All participants are encouraged to explore sponsorship for their travel and accommodation. Should further sources of funding become available, participants will be contacted.

Will there be wireless internet provided at the event location?
Yes, the wireless internet will be provided at the event location.

Where can I lodge during the Global Forum?
The information on hotels is available on GAID website. The participants are advised to make their reservation as soon as possible.

Will I require a visa to enter Mexico?
The information on visa and travel is provided on GAID website. The participants are advised to prepare their legal documents as recommended.

What will the weather be like?
During the month of June, the highest temperature is expected to be 94-100 degree Fahrenheit and the lowest temperature is expected to be 64-70 degree Fahrenheit.

What can wear in general?
In general, you can wear any suitable attire for warm weather.

Is there a dress code for the Global Forum?
Dress code for the Global Forum is business, causal or national attire.

Are there ATM machine that functions to accommodate US ATM cards to withdraw/deposit money?
ATM Machines are now widespread in Mexico. They are almost always open, very reliable and will dish out Mexican pesos to anyone with a card connected to one of the global networks, like VISA, MasterCard, American Express, etc.

Will there be ground transportation provided between the nearest airport and the hotel
The ground transportation from the airport to the hotel should be accommodated by the hotels. Please check with your hotel if they provide shuttle from and to the hotel.
There are no public transport options from the airport. Taxi and privately hired cars are the only two options.
Road Taxi: Several taxi companies provide services to/from the airport (journey time - 30 minutes). Travelers can buy pre-paid tickets at designated airport desks. Both companies below offer pre-booked taxis.
Is there a car rental facility from the nearest airport?
International and local car hire companies are represented at the airport, including Avis, Budget, Dollar, Hertz and Thrifty.

Will there be ground transportation provided between the hotels and the event venue?
