SOLUTIONS SALONS
The Strategy Council will break out into four “Solutions Salons” which are designed to move GAID beyond the traditional seminar or panel format to a hands-on, participatory community development and collective action. Everyone in attendance will have the opportunity to share their experiences and lessons from working on the priority themes, and elicit partnerships and support from the group to address current needs.
This will be an opportunity to engage Strategy Council, Steering Committee members and advisors, regional stakeholder networks and champions, and enlist their thoughts and constituencies, in shaping GAID's agenda and priorities for the coming year.
The goal is to develop a GAID Agenda for Action with clear deliverables and results for 2009-2010.
