What is the Marketplace?

Who? Individuals and organizations who are youth or are working with youth and who wish to share an innovative approach to a development challenge that leverages information and communication technologies (ICT)
What? Showcase of innovations and projects/initiatives that utilize ICT as a major component of the implementation
Where? Geneva International Conference Centre, Switzerland and online at the Global Forum website
When? 25 and 26 September 2007, as part of the GAID Global Forum on Youth and ICT for Development
How?* Apply to present projects, initiatives or case studies, slide shows, mini documentaries, briefing sessions, demonstrations
Why? Raise awareness, share experiences, acquire new partners/members, find potential sponsors
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE MARKETPLACE: 30 June 2007 (Applicants will be notified of the status of their application by the end of July.)
* Please note that individuals and organizations selected to participate in the Marketplace will be required to secure their own funding.
