| GAID LAC Network |

| The UN DESA GAID LAC Network will be the Latin American and
Caribbean focal point for the Global Alliance for ICT and Development.
The Network will take stock of the current situation in the ICT for
Development field in the Region, establish links among stakeholders,
help them to coordinate and meet, and identify key areas in order to
an action-oriented agenda. Our objective is to bring together
people and organizations from throughout the Region to promote intra
and inter-regional collaboration among interested stakeholders.
